New site, who dis?

main() {
      printf("hello, world\n");
}

For a while now I have thought about creating a site for myself, but never felt I had enough to show for my work. Fast-forward a couple of years, a little more experience, and a determination to eschew as best I can my impostor syndrome, I managed to sit my butt to the couch and build a resumé and portfolio site.

It also has blogging capabilities so why not make a post and maybe start some kind of writing habit?

What I realized from this little endeavor is that I actually have — in my humble opinion — quite an interesting body of work, and even though it is not as extensive* as my partner’s (whose I kept comparing to, peeping on his own portfolio which instilled in me the desire to create mine), it is something that I’m quite proud of.

Hopefully by making this site I’ll become a little more diligent in keeping track of pictures taken of me in events, become less shy about taking them as well, and maintain my portfolio up to date by consistently capturing screenshots and videos of the games I make.

For those reading this, I genuinely thank for your interest! I’ll try to post updates on my career, any devlogs or post-mortems from my (mostly) indie/non-commercial games, among other game-related stuff.

Another thanks for reading!

(Covid-safe) XO

*(I’ll cut myself some slack as I had the biggest chunk of my adult life busy with what was a very promising an athletic career)
